The march has been endorsed by major regional and national entities, including the Leh Apex Body, Kargil Democratic Alliance, National Conference, PDP, CPI(M), CPI(ML), PUCL, NAPM, India Greens Party, Tamil Nadu Green Party, Voters’ Party International, Right to Recall Party, Adarsh Sangram Party, Hum Bharat ke Log, Khudai Khidmatgar, Gandhi Peace Foundation, Rashtriya Yuva Sangathan, Aman Samiti, and Samaveshi Bharat Kendra. The organisers have appealed to other social, religious, civil rights, and political organisations across the country to join and support the movement.

According to an advisory issued by the organisers:

• Participants intending to join the full padyatra must arrive in Kargil by September 9, though participants are also welcome to join anywhere along the route for a portion of the march.
• As oxygen levels drop when traveling upward from Srinagar to Kargil and Leh, participants are advised to travel slowly to properly acclimatize.
• Buses and shared taxis are available on the Jammu–Srinagar, Srinagar–Kargil, and Kargil–Leh routes.
• Participants are requested to share their travel schedules with convenor Sajjad Kargili in advance to facilitate logistical planning.
