A Framework for Ending the Middle-East War

1. All attacks by the USA, Iran, and Israel, or by any other country or militia in this region, must end.

15. Keeping in view the significant contributions made to the development of the region by migrant workforce, special efforts for the protection of these vulnerable groups should be made.
16. Keeping in view the immense harm caused to the region’s environment, substantial protective and restoration efforts will be made, for example in the context of the olive groves of Palestine.
17. Groups of eminent persons known for their commitment to peace, from both within and outside the region,, will be encouraged to work for peace and reconciliation on a continuing basis.
18. Israel’s boundaries will be clearly defined as per international law. All sides will work together to ensure these are not expanded arbitrarily or violently, while also ensuring the security of the people of Israel within its legitimate borders.
19. All sides will cooperate to end all forms of terrorism.
20. Peace and unity efforts in the form of cultural exchange, literature, films, and media initiatives promoting peace will be encouraged.

This is a broad framework for an agenda based on justice-based peace in the Middle East region in terms of what may be possible at a practical level. This should, of course, be worked out in much greater detail with suitable modifications suggested by the most well-informed experts on regional issues. At the very least, carrying forward discussion and dialogue based on this or other peace and justice-based frameworks will be helpful for the peace process, particularly at the level of public opinion.
