It is incredibly irresponsible that despite projections of high mortality, senior leaders chose to start a proxy war and cross red lines, increasing nuclear war possibilities.

Despite its potential as a leader for world peace, Europe has instead become a force for war, acting as a junior ally to the USA and prolonging conflicts.

An existential crisis looms, whereby nuclear war, environmental ruin, related disasters and some other factors can destroy or badly disrupt essential life-nurturing conditions of the planet.

While the US-Iran peace agreement is welcome, it addresses only a fraction of the world’s major crises. Conflicts in the Middle East, Ukraine, and Africa continue to threaten global stability.
